Current Registrations:  NH, MA, VT, ME

Pat holds designation as a Model Law Engineer (MLE) through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and is eligible for licensure in all 50 states.

Pat holds a M.S. in Structural Engineering and a B.S. in Civil Engineering - both from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

He has worn many hats over the years, having worked in municipal government, private consulting, and for multiple federal agencies.

Pat has a passion for sustainable construction and, while he has experience designing structures of all material types, his favorite material to design with is timber.  Pat is fascinated by traditional timber frames that have proven to be a resilient structural system all over the world for centuries.

Pat's vision for Raistrick Engineering boils down to this:  "if you aren't learning, you aren't growing".  This mindset fuels him to be better every day.  His commitment to lifelong learning means that he is always looking to improve, both personally and professionally.

When he isn't designing structures for the business, Pat is swinging a hammer to renovate his home alongside his wife Katie and their two (soon to be three) children.

Katie formally joined the practice in November 2025. She comes with a background in education, healthcare, and management as a speech-language pathologist. Now ready to join the family business, Katie's main goal is to streamline service provision and optimize client interactions.

When she isn't managing business operations, she can be found cooking and crafting with Pat and their two (soon to be three) children.
